To create a collectible three-bottle case that displays Bardstown’s premium expressions with refinement and function, integrating a viewing window, secure carrying handle, and the flexibility to produce numbered limited editions.
The chosen concept, Modern Balance, features a veneered oak exterior with inlaid metal detailing and a near-seamless glass window. The bottles are secured in full EVA fitments wrapped in textured grey fabric. A low-profile latch engraved with edition numbering releases the window to reveal the collection, blending form and function with quiet sophistication.
Inspired by mid-century modern design and contemporary architecture, Modern Balance reflects Bardstown’s balance of heritage and innovation. The interplay of wood, metal, and glass evokes both craftsmanship and progress, capturing the brand’s refined yet forward-looking spirit.
Each element was engineered for precision and longevity. The natural oak veneer and metal framework were selected for strength and stability, while the transparent viewing panel provided a museum-like display effect. The structure’s proportions were refined to maintain visual symmetry and portability without compromising presence.
